DREAM EQUAL

Welcome To Digital Step
Digital Step is funded by the European Social Fund under the Northern Ireland EQUAL Community Initiative, and co-ordinated by Dream Ireland Limited – a research and development organisation for the creative industries.

The project aims to use Digital Technologies and Popular Culture to engage young people in the learning process.

The project targets socially disadvantaged young people aged 16-25 whom are facing a multitude of barriers to their integration into the labour market.

Digital Step will focus upon research and policy to develop new learning opportunities, new models of learning and new qualifications within both formal and informal learning environments.

Mission Statement
The Digital Step partnership aims to address unequal access to the labour market for marginalized young people by developing new models for learning, training and employment in the area of digital media. The project aims to influence policy at a regional, national and international level by changing core thinking and practice.
